Delete your account & data
This page explains how to permanently delete your Kasho
account and the personal data associated with it.
How to delete your account from the app
- Open the Kasho app on your device.
- Tap your profile / account icon at the top of the groups screen.
- Scroll down and tap “Delete my account”.
- Confirm the deletion. Your account and personal data are removed immediately.
Prefer to request it by email?
Send a message from your account email to
kasho@amadevlabs.com
with the subject “Delete my Kasho account”. We process the request within 30 days.
What data is deleted
- Your account and login (email address and name)
- Your session and authentication tokens
- Your group memberships
- Your push-notification tokens
What may be kept
- Shared data Expenses and balances you added to a shared group
remain visible to the other members of that group, so their split stays accurate. This shared content is
no longer linked to your deleted account.
- Records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons (e.g. purchase receipts) are retained only for the
period required by law, then deleted.
Data stored only on your own device (offline groups you never synced) is removed when you
uninstall the app or clear its storage.
